BIO-ADD® WETTING AGENTS
Wetting agents improve the preferential oil-wetting of solids in oil-based drilling muds, thereby maintaining the rheological and fluid loss properties. They also help to improve the emulsion and thermal stability of the mud system.
BIO ADD 943
a standard wetting agent suitable for oil-based drilling fluids. It is used in conjunction with a primary emulsifier to preferentially oil-wet solids and weighting materials in a drilling mud. When added in high concentration it also acts as a moderate oil-mud thinner.
Wetting agent based on neutralized DDBSA.
BIO ADD 945
A general-purpose wetting agent suitable for oil-based and synthetic-based drilling fluids, and is effective in field conditions with Bottom Hole Temperature above 200°C. It is used in conjunction with a primary emulsifier to preferentially oil-wet solids and weighting materials in a drilling mud.
